What Options are Available?

Sponsor a Section
ContractorsInfoLink.com offers the different sections of our web site as potential advertising vehicles. Your advertisement would appear on the top of the section that you wish to sponsor. If, for instance, you sell residential property, you might wish to sponsor the residential property section. This page would be free from other advertisements however; we reserve the right to place ads on pages below the section pages. The cost for sponsoring a section is $1,500 for six months.

Banner Advertising
We make all of our pages, with the exception of the sections, available for banner advertisements. Banner advertisements must be the standard size of 468x60 pixels and under 10k in size. Animated banners must be shorter than 7 seconds in length, 3 loops maximum. Banner advertisements may be purchased in one of two programs:

Front Page
Your banner will run on the top of our web site’s front page. This page gets the most exposure of any on the site. The cost for Front Page advertising is $35.00 per thousand impressions. Minimum of 1 unit. (1 unit = five thousand impressions)

Run of the Site
These banners run anywhere on the site. There is no allocation made for the type of advertising. Your ad may run in a section that is not related to your business. The cost for run of site advertising is $20.00 per thousand impressions. Minimum of 1 unit. (1 unit = five thousand impressions).

Targeted
These banners run in specific parts of the web site. They are targeted towards the visitors that will be most interested in your product. These banners are available on a calendar basis. The cost is $100 per month, regardless of traffic. Minimum of 2 month commitment.

Button Advertising
Button advertising is available for all but the front and section pages. Buttons must be 100x100 pixels in size. Buttons are available on a calendar basis. The minimum commitment is one month and the cost is $50.

General Requirements
ContractorsInfoLink.com does not accept any banner types that require the user to have a plug-in for the ad to be displayed. ContractorsInfoLink.com will not accept any advertisements that mislead our users. Ads may not have images or animation resembling dialogue boxes, prompts to initiate or stop automatic downloads or error messages. In the event that an ad banner serves cookies, the issuance of the cookie or other similar certificate must not interfere in any way with the serving of ad banner graphics or text. This includes cases where the end-user refuses the cookies or certificates either automatically or manually. Click through URL cannot have a trap door- must allow user to return to ContractorsInfoLink.com via back button or browser.

Required Materials and Due Date
The following materials must be delivered three days prior to the start date:

• Completed and Signed: Advertising Insertion Order Form .
• Ad Banner: GIF or HTML.
• Destination URL: The address you want your ad banner to link to. (must be complete and functional)
• Alt Text: One sentence (50 characters max) that will appear in lieu of your ad banner for non-graphics browsers or if a user has their graphics turned off. The Alt text is usually the same as your banner text.
• Tag Text: One sentence (80 characters max) that will appear beneath your ad banner (or beneath the Alt text). This text is also linked to your website and in most cases will download more quickly than your ad banner and gives users an opportunity to quickly access your site.
• Ad Banner Tracking Name: This is the name that will appear on your ad report for the ad banner.
• Email address for weekly banner reports
